This article examines the attempted assassination of former President Donald Trump on July 13, 2024, from a forensic psychological perspective. It analyzes the immediate crisis response, long-term psychological impacts, and broader implications for understanding and preventing acts of political violence. The analysis employs Psychological First Aid (PFA) as a framework for examining intervention strategies and explores the potential long-term psychological effects on various stakeholders.
